Since 1989. Roasted at our facility in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Our Story: In 1989 two entrepreneurs left the city life of Boston to pursue skiing, and a mountain lifestyle. They opened their first espresso bar in Vail, Colorado - the world famous Daily Grind located on Bridge Street. Their company evolved into Colorado's finest coffee roaster and tea company - Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea. They have been sharing their passion for freshness, quality and sustainability with other retailers and households around the country since 1989. The roasting operation, at 8,000 feet above sea level, coupled with the crisp Colorado mountain air, give Vail Mountain Coffee a high altitude advantage. The coffee retains more of its essential oils, intensifying its aroma and flavor, resulting in a deep smooth cup profile.
