With our variety of breads and bagels, we are confident that there is a Natural Ovens product out there to satisfy everyone's individual tastes. We offer the best nutrition while maintaining that fresh, homemade flavor. With Natural Ovens Bakery, you'll find whole grains, fiber, and vitamins and minerals. Some things you won't find are trans fats, cholesterol, artificial colors or flavorings, or artificial dough conditioners. We've discovered that it's possible to bake our breads and bagels without the use of potentially harmful ingredients, and we've also found that our loyal customers prefer it that way and appreciate our extra efforts. Why choose Natural Ovens Bakery Because many of our recipes are formulated to include ground flaxseed, which contributes omega-3 fatty acids. We've been adding flaxseed since 1987, and are proud to say that our breads and bagels were the first on the grocery store shelves to contain flaxseed. Our Hunger Filler bread is made from the same recipe as our 100% whole grain bread, but adds a generous sprinkle of sesame seeds to the top of the crust for a delicious taste and hearty crunch. Whole grain. 18g or more per serving. Eat 48g or more of whole grains daily. What are whole grains All grains start life as whole grains. In their natural state growing in the fields, whole grains are the entire seed of a plant. This seed (which industry calls a "kernel") is made up of three key parts: the bran, the germ, and the endosperm. Whole grains contain all three parts of the kernel. Refining normally removes the bran and the germ, leaving only the endosperm. Without the bran and germ, about 25% of a grain's protein is lost, along with at least seventeen key nutrients. What are the benefits of whole grains Whole grains contain key nutrients such as B vitamins, Vitamin E, magnesium, iron and fiber; along with antioxidants and phytochemicals. How much whole grain is recommended The 2005 dietary guidelines for Americans recommends that all adults eat 48 grams of whole grains a day. Contact us: Direct delivery orders.
